We align with the European Commission’s consultation on a Sustainability Standard for Voluntary use and support a proportionate and practical framework for SMEs and SMPs.
For us it is necessary to highlight the importance of the “protected undertaking” concept and the value-chain cap in reducing unnecessary reporting burdens and providing greater legal certainty for smaller businesses. We also stress the need for practical implementation support, including guidance and digital tools developed by EFRAG.
