EFAA for SMEs responds to the European Commission’s consultation on the recast of the Directive on Administrative Cooperation (DAC)

EFAA for SMEs highlights the growing administrative burden created by successive DAC amendments and their disproportionate impact on SMPs. It calls for simplified, proportionate reporting obligations and clearer responsibilities for taxpayers. EFAA for SMEs also urges full recognition of professional secrecy for accountants to ensure a level playing field with other professions.
