Future-Ready SMPs

Sharing and developing insights and ideas, practical guidance, tools and resources to help SMPs transform their practices so as to be future-ready. EFAA believes that the future success of SMPs depends on their ability to transform their practices. Practice transformation demands SMPs embracing digital technologies and broadening the range of services they offer.

EFAA is also helping SMPs build their capacity to offer a broader range of services, in particular business advisory which spans a range of advice including sustainability and intellectual property. EFAA collaborates with others in this endeavor, for example EUIPO. Below information documents and details of events held to help make SMPs future ready.

EFAA’s Digital Working Group (DWG) meets regularly to determine how best to raise awareness around the need for SMPs to adopt digital technologies as well as share ideas and insights across EFAA’s member organizations. These technologies are key to the efficient operation of SMPs as well as providing new and improved services to clients.

EFAA’s online Digital Competency Maturity Model (DCMM) helps SMPs self evaluate their digital competence and maturity and serves as the basis for creating a roadmap to self improvement.
